We visited Chicago a few years ago. Chicago is the home of Blue’s music, so we decided to go see a Blues show, (actually we went to a few). My favorite place was this little old club, located just across from the Kingston Mines on Halstead street. The club was named, “Blues.”
For my drawing and paintings, I try to choose real places as my subjects and I like to have a bit of a connection.
The following is a one of my first drawing and paintings of the wonderful venue!

While drawing and painting this magical memory I was reminded so much of the wonderful evening we had and all the good feelings associated with it. Painting and drawing is a great way to remember those special times and places.
