I have been away for a bit, we were traveling for our Nephews wedding so we decided to make a bit of a road trip out of it. Our three week journey took it through alpine style valleys, the Rocky Mountains, Alberta prairies and a Northern route to Dawson Creek and back to our coastal mountain home.
When traveling I take many pictures and don’t spend much time drawing. We tend to move around a lot and don’t really get much time to sketch. But I have a lot of pictures that I have bought home and, as Winter is just around the corner…….. I am here to share a few more of my little drawings and my little explanations of why I drew them 😊
My little book shop: I have shared this image previously as a drawing. I have now used my watercolour pencil crayons to paint it. The actual size of the drawing is about 2.5 inches by 6.5 inches. I am much better a holding the pencil steady then the brush, but I do like my colour choices.

The Outhouse:
Yes, tiny homes have hit Alberta 🙂 Not really, this is one of the drawing/paintings I keep in my little 5 X 5 sketch book. I look for small simple buildings to draw and, I really did see a tiny home similar to this where a person lived. If my sketch book had been a bit wider I may have included the cloths line.

So I look to the future and what is instore, more little buildings. I need to get back to my drawings, so have a fantastic week and feel nothing but Joy!
