In the English Language that I speak
And I don’t know them all

And at very best
Only 100,000 in French
And I am not familiar with most

The German Language has 5,300,000 words
Far more then I had thought
They seem to speak a lot

93,000 thousand words
Is the best the Spaniards can do
They say more with less

In Italy, there are about five hundred thousand words
That can be used by all
I haven’t time to learn them all

In Norway, there are 303,000 words and Sweeden has 600,000 words
Nouns, synonyms and verbs
Sweeden has a lot to say

China has only 100,000 true words
They use a lot of phrases though, which add up to 330,000
Surprisingly, the Japanese have 500,000

It seems the Arabic Language has beat all the rest
With 500,000,000 words, counting dialects
I just don’t have that much to say
